She was built as Ben Wyvis and registered in Spain and renamed Carmen on 1895, when bought by Melitón González. After other owners she was bought on 1914 by this company. On 1916 the company was bought by Ferrer Peset Hermanos and this vessel was renamed Joan de Joanes, name that kept when the company merged with Trasmediterránea. She was sunk on 22/March/1922 close to Peñón de Alhucemas by Moroccan gunfire.
