        She was a landing craft during World War II and was used as such when bought in 1960 by CEPSA, for transporting drilling equipment to Spanish Sahara. In 1966 the stern section, with machinery and accomodation, was cut at Barcelona by the shipyard Nuevo Vulcano Shipyard and used for the building of the Guadarranque. The tanks and forward section was converted in the pontoon CEPSA IV.
