Alberique - Collection C. Kleiss
At La Coruña. She was the white vessel in the center of the photo. By her bow was the Cabo Roche, owned by Ybarra. On the background was the destroyer of the Spanish Navy Osado, with the identification D32.
      She was built in 1947 by Sociedad Española de Construcción Naval in its Sestao shipyard for COFRUNA, bearing first the name of Alcazar and since 1958 that of Alberique. The propulsion was by a Christiansen Mayer quadruple expansion reciprocating machine. She was scrapped at Barcelona in 1972, after having been laid up since 1969 at Valencia.
