Sierra Aranzazu - Colección de P. Blanco
        On 13 September 1964 during a trip Alicante - La Habana was attached by two speedboats when steaming close to Cuba. Three crewmembers were killed and several more injured. The vessel got fire and was abandoned using a lifeboat, being rescued by a Dutch OBO. The vessel was towed by two Cuban tugboats to Banes, where she sunk. She was later refloated and towed to Santander for repairs.
