This nice photo shows her berthed at Malabo (Equatorial Guinea) when it was yet Spanish Guinea and the city was called Santa Isabel. When it was already Malabo the vessel was berthed by the aft outside the photo right border as floating hotel, after Teodoro Obiang started his presidency.

Another view of the ship shot from the Alsixmar, that was berthed at the pier.

Santa Maria del Pino
Santa Maria del Pino - Collection C. Kleiss
Between 1963 and 1967 were received five sister vessels; they were the Pelícano class. All them were built by Unión Naval de Levante. The two first were Santa Maria del Pino and Santa Maria de la Candelaria, and after two years were followed by Santa Maria de las Nieves, Santa Maria de la Caridad and Santa Maria de la Paz.
Although basically sisters vessels there were some differences between the two first and the three last, what can be seen also from outside.
