      Este barco permaneció muy poco tiempo en la naviera, ya que conjuntamente con el Villaviciosa fue vendido en 1951 a la naviera portuguesa Companhia de Navegaçao Carregadores Açorianos, siendo renombrados Sete Cidades y Lagoa respectivamente. El Lagoa cambió en 1973 su nombre por el de Somar, permanceciendo bajo bandera portuguesa, y siendo finalmente desguazado ese mismo año en San Esteban de Pravia. El Sete Cidades conservó su nombre hasta ser desguazado en Lisboa en 1971.
