        At Santander Bay with several ships throwing a lot of smoke. On the right was the Caruso owned by Naviera Ángel Álvarez; behind the mast the Ave owned by Naviera Astro; on the left one of the Junta de Obras del Puerto hoppers, the Somo or Raos.
        She was built by Sociedad de Construcciones Metálicas de Zumaya in 1933 for Eufemio Chacártegui Arrinda as Chacartegui Primero. Later was Chacartegui Lenengua and Chacartegui. In 1955 she was sold to Román Chacártegui Arrinda and renamed Aranguin, name kept by the following owners.

The second was sister ship to this, being the N. 79 of same shipyard, this was the N. 78. She was built also for the same owner as Manuel Salvadores, changig her name after this was sold.
