        On 1934 Duro Felguera sold the first Ciaño to Cía. Naviera Amaya, that renamed her Axpe, and bought to the same company the Vicen, that became the second Ciaño. It seems that the interchanged vessels that suited better their trades. This second Ciaño was very long time in the company fleet: 37 years.

        She was bought on 1951 to Sota y Aznar. She was the only turret vessel built in Spain, delivered by Euskalduna on 1912 to Sota y Aznar as Upo-Mendi, being renamed on 1939 as Monte Jarindo. On this photo she was yet as Upo-Mendi, and can be seen with her original look with open bridge.
