Castillo Javier
Castillo Javier - Collection M. Alonso
There were three sailing vessels that were used as school ships. The first was the Castillo Javier, seized in 1939 during the Civil War when she was the Azelma. Until 1943 was used in the coastal trade, and on that year was modified to be used as school ship. Only three years later she was scrapped.
